Welcome to Department of Physical Education! We started in 2012 as Radha Govind College of Physical Education and are affiliated with Vinoba Bhave University. Now we’re part of Radha Govind University since 2018. Each year, we welcome 100 students in our various programs like B.P.E.S, B.P.Ed, M.A in Physical Education and M.A Yoga.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)
PEO1-Develop a thorough understanding of the research process in physical education and sports sciences, enabling students to critically analyze and contribute to existing knowledge in the field.
PEO2-Gain comprehensive knowledge of the physiology of exercise, including the physiological responses and adaptations to physical activity, facilitating the design and implementation of effective exercise programs for various populations.
PEO3-Acquire proficiency in yogic sciences, including theoretical principles and practical applications, to promote holistic well-being and enhance physical, mental, and emotional health through yogic practices.
PEO4-Master tests, measurement, and evaluation techniques in physical education, enabling students to assess physical fitness, skill acquisition, and performance outcomes accurately and objectively, thus informing evidence-based practice and decision-making in sports and physical education settings.
PROGRAMME SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)
PSO1Demonstrate proficiency in conducting research in Physical Education & Sports Sciences, including understanding research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and interpretation of findings.
PSO2Apply principles of exercise physiology to design and implement effective exercise programs for individuals and groups, considering factors such as age, fitness level, and health status.
PSO3Utilize Yogic sciences to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being through the practice of yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation, with an understanding of their physiological and psychological effects.
