Introduction
The Department of psychology ,Radha Govind University, Ramgarh, established in the year 2018, offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses leading to the degrees of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) by papers or research, awarded by Radha Govind University, Ramgarh. In addition to the master’s programme, Ph.D. degree programmes are also conducted by the department. The experienced faculty of the department is devoted to research, which is given equal importance by the faculty. Research and teaching are given equal importance by the faculty. Psychology is also applied in our daily lives and in many things. Psychology is the study of people's behavior, performance, and mental operations. Its commitment to high-quality teaching and research shines through its mission and vision.

Mission
- M1 Our graduate and post-graduate curricula offer a basis for the scientific knowledge of behavior and mental processes.
- M2 The Department of Psychology's aim is to conduct high-quality psychological research to offer great teaching and service informed and enriched by our efforts to find, synthesize, and transfer knowledge.
- M3 Students who complete this degree will be prepared to pursue professions and post-graduate studies in psychology, human development and ageing, health and illness, rehabilitation, biomedical research, human-machine interfaces, and other developing disciplines and other domains.
